THE TOP 100 SCIENCE FICTION NOVELS

THERE’S NO DEFINITIVE LIST, BUT  MOST AGREE THESE ARE TOPS

This is my list for now. While sci fi and fantasy are often grouped together because of their many similarities, I’ve tried not to include fantasy.

The order of importance is up to debate. Various sci fi sources differ on which are best. I won’t have an opinion until I read the books myself.

For some authors, their books are either so trail-blazing or so well-written, several of their books are worthy of being included in a top 100 list, Robert Heinlein and Isaac Asimov being notable examples. There may be other cases where multiple books by one author are included but not merited–or not included and are merited.

When I finish these books, I’ll look at others that are contenders for the 100 top science fiction books before posting a final list. You can be a part of what books end up on the list. If you’re a science fiction reader, give me your insights!
